William Wordsworth

I originally made this for Photo Art Friday, but totally forgot to link up in time.
That theme was "Connections"
However, I love this quote and
it works perfectly for lovely Kaylene's challenge this week at
I used my own photo (which is the challenge),

Here is the original:

Added some layers using papers by Syndee Nuckles and Durin Eberhart
Played with filters and layers and then added this great quote.
Hence:  Quotography!!

I hope you join in, you will be glad you did.
Thanks for looking.

You Oughtta Be In PIctures!

is Challenge #151 at
Yessirree, we are inviting you to create something
that makes you think of your favorite movie, your least favorite movie,
any movie at all, or something remotely movie-ish.
I made a tag:
I used Bo Bunny paper, Maya Road embellies, a Tim Holtz embossing folder,
word stamps by Dylusion
and the Alice stamps are all from a stamp set which is made by,
I'm sorry, I cannot remember.
But it was fun to make.
And if you go over to
you'll get to see what the other Poobahs have created for this challenge.
I hope you are inspired to join us!!

The photos are my own, and I used elements by
Biograffiti, LMurphy, Brandy Hackman
and Kim Klassen.
Thanks for stopping by!!

This was such a cool challenge for me, I learned how
to install and use custom shapes in my PSE.
The silhouette is by Thesuper
I also used elements by Brandy Hackman, Doris Castle
and Bonnie Zeiman.

Sketching in a Winter Wonderland

Do you wonder why I am posting a photo of a Christmas card?
Are you thinking, "Man, is she ever disorganized!"
Well, you're right about that, I am.
But that's not why I'm posting it.
It's for
a wonderful Christmas Card challenge site,
and when you are scrambling at the last minute
in December 2013, with your cookies baking
and the tree still needing to be decorated,
to find your Christmas cards
and get them mailed out before the post office deadline,
I will be resting in front of the fire, sipping a mug of hot cocoa,
gloating,'cus mine will all be done.

Nyaa Myaa Nyaa Nyaa Boo Boo!

This week Bonnie has invited us to use her Bamboo Dream texture.
Most of the art that has been created has an Orental theme to it (of course), but
in my scrolling through my gazillion photographs
for something from my trip to Thailand, but I couldn't get past
this shot of Johnston Canyon last winter.
It was absolutely gorgeous there.

I sued Bonnie's Bamboo Dreams Texture as well as her Dropped Petals.
An overlay by Lost and Found and Wordart by Amanda Frijo-Tobin
finishes it off.

Operation Charity Card

Challenge #150 at
is to make a card for a charity.
Grand Poobah Jana says it so much better than I:
This time around I am challenging you to do good. I would like for you to create cards for a charity. It doesn't matter what the charity. Just make cards for someone who can use a smile or an encouraging word or two.

There are some fantabulous cards at The Order, Yessirree Bob!
Here's mine:
I work at a non-profit agency, and we had a man's birthday coming up, so I made him this.
Normally, we buy our birthday cards.
Well, surprise, surprise, everyone liked it so much than I am now the official card-maker for all the birthdays.
How did THAT happen?

Oh well, as you can tell, it was pretty easy.
Thanks to a Tim Holtz stamp and
some paper I have had in my stash for, I estimate, for 15 years.
You have until Saturday, Feb. 23rd to link up with us at
Go there.
You'll make someone happy.
