Had to lay someone off today, that REALLY sucked. I feel angry that it had to happen. Took the Team on a tour of Remand this afternoon. It re-affirms my strong desire to never go to jail. I shall make a point of not doing anything that would get me there.
I was discharged from the Chronic Pain Centre today as well, that's a big success. I'm glad I don't have to go there anymore, it's been a long haul. I had hoped we would be finished today, and probably made things sound better than they really are. But that's OK. I have new skills to deal with the pain and just need to use them. It's a matter of discipline. It's all a matter of discipline, really.
